HENDERSON COUNTY, Ind (WEHT) – The Henderson City-County Airport will receive $247,950 through the Airport Terminal Program to fund terminal rehabilitation.

Local officials say the money will be used to replace the terminal roof, saying it is aging and showing signs of distress. Airport manager Allen Bennett said the repairs are long overdue.

The funding comes from the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act which allocated $25 billion to improving airports nationwide.
