HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Henderson Area Rapid Transit (HART) will resume its regular routes on Tuesday, May 26 as Kentucky reopens restaurants, retail, hair saloons, medical offices and other businesses.

HART drivers and support staff will still maintain all of the protective measures that have been put into place, include masks, social distancing and sanitizing. Paratransit service also will resume on the day following Memorial Day.

Ridership has dropped while many businesses were closed by the COVID-10 pandemic, and routes were consolidated or eliminated on March 20.

HART thanks riders for their flexibility and asks riders to take every measure to continue maintaining “social distancing.”
