Henderson chase ends with woman facing charges

A woman has been charged after a chase in Henderson that ended with a crash.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy tried to stop a car driven by Jessica Hardrick on 14th Street and Green Street around 2:30 Friday morning.

Deputies said after a short chase, Hardrick drove over spike strips set up by Henderson Police.

After her vehicle came to a stop, HCSO said Hardrick ran into a cornfield where she was detained.

She’s charged with driving DUI suspended license, conspiracy to traffic controlled substance, and fleeing police.
