The Henderson City Commission passed a resolution on Tuesday in support of House Bill 166, which would legalize medical marijuana in Kentucky.
The commission voted after listening to testimony from community members with chronic health conditions.
House Bill 166 is currently pending in the General Assembly.
Henderson Mayor Steve Austin voted in favor of the resolution.
He said he will bring up any reservations he has about the bill if it passes the Kentucky House of Representatives.
