Henderson County chosen as part of blind draw for election audit

Local News

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – State officials will be in Henderson to audit results from this year’s general election.

The action does not mean there are any signs of wrongdoing or inappropriate activity in connection with this month’s election, but after each election six Kentucky counties are selected through a blind draw to have their result audited.

Muhlenberg County was selected for an audit following the May primary and Webster was one of the counties selected following the 2018 general election.

No irregularities were found during either of those elections.
