HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A Henderson man was arrested Wednesday evening after police say he tried to murder his mother during an argument.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m., Henderson Police Department officers responded to the 1600 block of Powell Street for a shooting.
The suspect, later identified as 21-year-old Shon Denton-Higgs, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
We’re told the victim, Maegan Fulkerson, is the suspect’s mother. Police say she was taken to the hospital and is currently in critical condition.
The Henderson Police Department is expected to release more details once available.
