Henderson man charged with attempted murder in shooting

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A man has been charged with attempted murder in a shooting that sent a Henderson man to the hospital.

Henderson Police officers Joshua Blackwell Tuesday and U.S. Marshals. He’s been charged in connection with the shooting of Hobert Miller on Mill Street.

Henderson Police said Miller was found with a gunshot wound to the head as he walked down the street on December 11.

Victim and witness statements led to the warrant for Blackwell’s arrest, according to HPD. Officers said Blackwell claimed Miller was about to stab him.

Blackwell is charged with attempted murder and felony probation violation.
