Henderson man faces charges after allegedly pulling gun on a woman

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A Henderson man is facing charges after police say he pulled a gun on a woman on Halloween.

George Nelson, 48, is charged with robbery and terroristic threatening.

It happened on Halloween around 7PM in the 400 block of North Green St.

Officers were called to N. Green St. regarding a man pulling a gun on a woman.

When officers arrived, they talked to the victim who told them a man, later identified as Nelson, a ride. She said Nelson pulled a gun on her and told her he would kill her if she didn’t give him her phone or stopped the vehicle.

The victim told officers she stopped the car and ran for help.

Officers located Nelson in the 500 block of N. Adams St.

Nelson was taken to the Henderson County Jail. He’s being held on a $1,000 cash bond.
