HENDERSON, Ky. –From water to natural gas safety, Henderson Municipal Gas is getting ready to call residents to make sure customers know what to do in the event of a gas leak.
The city will start making calls the week of March 9. Customers will answer a few yes or no questions.
This is used to educate the public on how to recognize and respond to a natural gas leak and to provide information on the importance of calling Kentucky 811 before you dig.
Customers are allowed to opt-out of the phone survey by emailing their name, address and phone number here.
Survey results will be used to evaluate and improve how safety information is relayed.
