Two storm sirens that have not been functioning correctly in Henderson are being replaced.
The new sirens will be placed at U.S. 60 and Barrett Boulevard near the Cracker Barrel and on KY 351 and Larue Road which is across from the high school.
Henderson Fire Chief Scott Foreman says they are being installed Wednesday but will not be operating until about two weeks from now.
He said it is a long process to get a siren, and an expensive one. Each siren costs around $26,000.
