Henderson truck company takes donations to Nashville

Local News

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- A local trucking company is connecting Henderson and Nashville.

Silver Creek Transportation is collecting supplies for tornado victims and delivering the supplies to a church in Tennessee.

Employees at Silver Creek Transportation are filling a trailer with donations from the community to send to Nashville.

If you’re interested in donating, you can drop off supplies at 2055 South Green Street in Henderson.

They are looking for water, Gatorade, zip lock bags, personal hygiene items, and other toiletries.

They’ve also received some money donations so far.

Zebb Cowan, logistics and operations coordinator says, “We’re always looking for community, to help out community whatever they need. And Nashville is close enough, it’s a neighboring community that’s been hit hard so it kind of impacted some of us.”

The trailer will leave Henderson at noon on Saturday to head to Nashville.

People can drop their donations off until then.
