High speed multi-county chase ends in Daviess County

A high-speed police pursuit spanning three counties has ended in Daviess County, Kentucky.

The chase ended at US 60 and US 231, near the William Natcher Bridge in Owensboro around 9 p.m.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says the chase started in Breckinridge County after a traffic stop.

The driver led authorities through Hancock County before crashing into flooded water in Owensboro.

The suspect was taken to the hospital, but does not have serious injuries.

Authorities have not released the suspect’s name or why he fled from police.

The viewer who sent us these pictures also praised police in Hancock County for pulling over his daughter for safety reasons during that chase.
