Highway 41 project at twin bridges continues and so does drivers’ frustrations

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The fix for the Highway 41 project labors on at the border between Indiana and Kentucky.

The project is making progress towards completion but that is little comfort to drivers when they are stuck in traffic and frustrated like today when both northbound and southbound lanes were backed up.

Lane closures in the work zone near Ellis Park created bumper to bumper traffic on both sides of the bridge.

Crews recently opened lanes and shifted traffic patterns in the area.

Be patient, the project should be done by mid-November.
