Home Depot Giving Early Christmas Gifts to Kids at Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights

Saturday, December 17, young visitors to Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights in Evansville’s Garvin Park will receive an early Christmas gift from Home Depot.

Saturday night only, starting at 5 p.m., the first 500 children in vehicles paying admission to the event will receive Kid’s Workshop project aprons and/or project kits from Home Depot West and Home Depot East volunteers. Home Depot mascot Homer will also be on hand to greet visitors at the ticket booth.

Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights, the “magical mile of holiday lights” featuring 61 animated scenes, will be open nightly though January 1 in Garvin Park. Hours are 5-9 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays, and 5-10 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, and Christmas Day.

Admission per vehicle with up to 6 people is $7; per vehicle with 7-14 people is $10; and per vehicle with 15 people or more is $25. Carriage rides are available for $30 which includes admission for up to 6 people.

All proceeds from Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights provide therapy for local children and adults with disabilities at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center.
