For the second year in a row our Home Team Friday Pep Rally made a stop in Gibson County.
The Titans packed the endzone of the Gibson Southern football field as the sun rose. Stacey May returned to her alma mater to face off against her family once again in a competition. This time it was her twins that got the chance to beat her in front of the whole school.
The first game of the morning began with some donuts being caught by some skilled students and staff members at the school.
We took a break from the excitement to talk to a few football players about Homecoming and the rivalry game on the field later in the night against Princeton Community High School.
The student council also shared plans for a statewide convention being held at the school later this year that will highlight the entire community to Hoosiers from all across the state.
The noise cranked back up minutes later when several students circled intertubes in front of the band for a very competitive game of musical chairs.
The Principal of Gibson Southern, Scott Reid gave his Week 5 picks when it comes to game around the Tri-State. After choosing a few games from around the area, he broke out the football helmet for an emphatic prediction that the Titans will take home a victory against the Tigers.
