The Home Team Friday Pep Rally at South Spencer High School was one of the most energetic in the three year history of the show.

The morning ended with a lot of noise and one teacher taking a pie to the face.

Kincaid Insurance sponsored Friday’s pep rally. Jeremy Kincaid joined Mr. Sherohman for the weekly pick segment involving guest pickers selecting high school football game winners around the Tri-State. After a drum roll form the band, Mr. Sherohman used a huge prop to make his choice known.

The students at South Spencer High School generously donated socks for children in need to the Santa Clothes Club. Each class brought in socks tied to a teacher representing them. The teacher with the most socks took a pie to the face.

Head Football Coach John Edge joined Jake Boswell, Ron Rhodes, and Gretchen Ross early in the morning to get his players fired up and to talk about the big homecoming football game against Boonville.

The homecoming court at South Spencer put on one of the memorable games in pep rally history with a scooter race that had tons of twists and turns.

The volleyball team, girls soccer team, football team, and boys soccer team all talked about their respective seasons this Fall. The boys soccer team can take home a sectional title with a win against North Posey Saturday.

After a game of Hungry Hungry Hippo the entire school joined into a song of Happy Birthday to help Mr. Daming celebrate her special day this year.
