HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – Family trips to the grocery store are on hold for the time being in Hopkins County after Judge Executive Jack Whitfield, Jr. asked stores to limit shoppers to one person per cart.

Madisonville man, Terry Hamp says he doesn’t see anything wrong with the rule, “A lot of the time whole families will come in here and kids will be running left and right. It’s all right for now.”

There is no time frame for how long the rule will be in place.
