How to send a letter to a veteran on the Honor Flight

Local News

(WEHT) The next Honor Flight of Southern Indiana is set to take flight next month. Joe Miller, the president of HFSI, talked with Jake Boswell about the flight coming up on Oct. 5.

One way you can show your appreciation for our veterans is through ‘Mail Call.’ You can write a thank-you letter for a veteran and they’ll receive that letter during the Honor Flight.

Letters are due Sept. 28. If you don’t know the name of a veteran, you can simply address the letter, “Dear Veteran.”

They can be dropped off at one of these locations: Golden Corral in Evansville, Evansville public libraries, Mission BBQ on Green River Rd., or Old National Bank branches in southern Indiana.

You can also mail the letter to:

Operation Mail Call
HFSI-EVV11
PO Box 8234
Evansville, IN, 47716
