HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Henderson Police Department says it does not believe two alleged robbery cases are connected.

The first happened in December of 2019 and involved an elderly female allegedly giving two unknown males a large sum of money for concrete work at her residence.

The second happened on January 20 and involved a different elderly woman that reported two men came to her apartment inquiring about roof work and allegedly stole her jewelry after letting them inside.

Neither woman was threatened or held at gunpoint, contrary to a Facebook post being spread, police said.

Both incidents are under investigation, but police said they don’t believe they are connected.
