Part of I-69 is currently down to one lane after an overnight crash.
It happened around 3:00 Wednesday morning, just north of the Lynch Road exit.
Sheriff’s deputies tell us the semi driver apparently fell asleep behind the wheel and veered off the road, hitting an abandoned car.
The semi then overturned into an embankment.
The driver had some cuts on his arm, but the injuries were nothing life-threatening.
We’re told the semi was hauling about 19,000 pounds of boxed meat.
Authorities say it’s going to take some time to get the scene of the accident cleaned up.
If your commute takes you through the area of I-69 near Lynch road, you can expect some delays.
