Ill. (WEHT) – Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced Monday that there are now 236 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including three additional deaths in Cook County.

Illinois now has a total of 1,285 cases across 31 counties in Illinois. Nearly 10,000 people in the state have been tested.

There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Southeastern, Illinois

Additionally, Pritzker is asking for donations for much needed personal protective equipment for Illinois healthcare providers. He says Illinois has only received about 10 percent of equipment such as goggles, gloves, and masks he has requested from the federal government.
