An Illinois man is sentenced after pleading guilty to aggravated driving under the influence, causing bodily harm.

Daniel Mills, of Stonefort, was sentenced to 10 years behind bars for hitting Robert Finney in Gallatin County in June of 2018.

Authorities say Mills was drinking when he hit Finney, causing major injuries.

Once Mills is released from prison, he will serve one-year of mandatory supervised release and pay restitution and court costs.

Officials say Mills’ intoxication was the contributing factor in the crash.
