CHICAGO, Ill. (WEHT)- Minimum wage in Illinois has been set to go up January 1.

The will increase to $9.25 an hour, and minimum wagewill also increase in 23 other states.

In 2019 ,The U.S House passed the “Raise The Wage ” act which would take minimum wage from $7.25 to $15.00 an hour.

The bill failed in the senate.

Both Indiana and Kentucky minimum wage will remain the same.
