Indiana American Water bills to increase 2% in July

Local News

WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – The cost of water is about to go up for some residents in Warrick County.

Indiana American Water received permission from state regulators to increase water bills.

The bills will go up 2% on July 1 and another 5.7% in May.

Indiana American said that is an increase of about $2.50 per month for the average user.

The news isn’t all bad for consumers: last year’s tax overhaul plan means that next May the company is passing along a rebate of just over $19 to every customer.
