Indiana Attorney General Suing Former Car Dealership

It’s been demolished for several months now. But a former car lot on Evansville’s southeast side is now being sued by Indiana’s attorney general.

Back in April, investigators determined Unlimited Automotive Wholesalers had repeatedly issued interim plates to dozens of customers instead of the official title to the vehicle.

Attorney General Greg Zoeller says his office is now seeking the car titles for 37 customers as well as seeking civil penalties for violation of consumer protection laws.

Unlimited Automotive Wholesalers was demolished back in April.
