(WEHT) – Tuesday, Indiana Farm Bureau President and Vanderburgh County farmer Randy Kron was elected to the American Farm Bureau board of directors.

President Kron released this statement:

“I am honored to represent the Midwest on the American Farm Bureau board of directors,” said Randy Kron, INFB president. “As an Indiana farmer, and as someone who has traveled the Midwest connecting with farmers of all kinds, I’m passionate about representing our region and our specific interests at the national level. Agriculture is vitally important to the Midwest. Without a strong agriculture industry, our rural communities suffer. I look forward to representing the region, its farmers and our rural communities at the national level.”
