Southwestern Indiana will be seeing some visits Thursday from candidates in the gubernatorial race.
The new Republican candidate for Indiana governor will be in the Tri-State.
Current Lt. Gov. Eric Holcomb is making a stop at Jasper’s Strassenfest.
He is supposed to address the crow around 5:30 p.m. for the festival’s opening ceremonies.
Holcomb recently chose Evansville native and current state auditor Suzanne Crouch as his running mate.
The Democratic candidate for Lt. Governor Christina Hale will be in Petersburg and Evansville on Thursday.
She is touring the Petersburg generating stations and serving as a keynote speaker at the Vanderburgh County Democratic Party dinner Thursday night at Tropicana.
