Silver Alert canceled for missing Newburgh Man


NEWBURGH, Ind. (WEHT) — As of 4:53 a.m. Thursday morning, the Silver Alert for 85-year-old Richard Howard has been canceled.


A statewide Silver Alert has been issued by Indiana State Police for a missing man in Warrick County.

The Warrick County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of 85-year-old Richard Howard.

Police say he is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 210 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. 

Police believe he may be driving a green 2003 Dodge Caravan with Indiana license plate STM763.

Howard is missing from Newburgh, Indiana and was last seen on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 9:30 am. 

He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
