Indiana’s Secretary of State releases primary election voter turnout report


(WEHT) – According to a report by Indiana’s Secretary of State, Connie Lawson, only 13% of eligible Hoosiers voted in the primary election.

The Indiana election division compiled the report from voter data gathered in 69 of Indiana’s 92 counties.

The report states Martin County and Rush County had the highest turnout in the state with 35% each.

Voter registration is now open for the general election which will take place on Tuesday, November 5th.
