OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – Owensboro’s Innovation Middle School debuted a renovated look as students returned for the new semester.
The renovations include additional classrooms, a library, and a common area. The new space is set to allow more space for project-based learning.
“The students that we have here, have made this possible with the way that they help each other, the way they support each other. I’m glad they now have a space to continue their learning,” said I-School Principal Mark Moore.
The next phase of renovations is already underway, which will house the Owensboro Innovation Academy next year. Construction is expected to be finished by Fall 2020.
