ISP: Arrest warrant issued in connection with 2016 murder investigation

FRENCH LICK, Ind. (WEHT) – An arrest warrant was issued Monday for a French Lick man in connection with a murder investigation that started on December 27, 2016.

Cody Gabrel, 24, faces charges of felony murder, murder, and burglary resulting in serious bodily injury in connection with the murder investigation of 66-year-old James Bryson.

On December 27, 2016, Indiana State Police said Bryson was found dead inside his residence that he shared with his sister on West County Road 50 South in French Lick.

Bryson had last been seen on December 24, 2016.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
