ISP investigates bank robbery in Crawford County

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Indiana State Police detectives are currently investigating a bank robbery at the First Savings Bank located on East SR 64 in Marengo.

According to ISP detectives, a man entered the bank carrying a bag and demanded money from one of the bank tellers.

After receiving the money, authorities said the man fled on foot.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery, ISP detectives said.

Authorities said the suspect is around 40-years-old, approximately 5’9” tall, 180 lbs, has gray facial hair, and was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, sunglasses, blue t-shirt, and blue cargo pants.
