ISP: Woman accused of using Wood Memorial PTO account for parasailing in Florida

OAKLAND CITY, Ind. (WEHT) – On Thursday, authorities said 36-year-old Stephanie Rhoton turned herself in at the Oakland City Police Department, in connection with unauthorized purchases discovered on the Wood Memorial PTO bank account.

Detectives said Rhoton made the purchases between July 8 and July 24, totaling over $4,180.

One unauthorized purchase was for parasailing while recently vacationing in Dayton Beach, Florida, ISP said.

Rhoton was charged with fraud and taken to the Gibson County Jail.
