Update: Names released in deadly stabbing in Dubois County

Update

The names of the victim and suspect involved in a deadly stabbing in Dubois County have been released.

Indiana State Police say 27-year-old Kyle Schneider stabbed 23-year-old Chloie Lubbehusen, of English.

Lubbehusen was taken to an area hospital where she later died.

Schneider is charged with murder and is being held in the Dubois County Jail.

Indiana State Police Troopers are investigating a murder believed to have occurred early Friday in Dubois County.

The investigation centers around a St. Anthony address in the 5800 block of East County Rd. 650 East.

Just before 8:30 a.m. Friday morning, Dubois County 911 received an emergency call reporting that an unidentified adult was found on the property bleeding.

ISP responded and said one suspect was located and detained.

ISP said the victim was stabbed.

The victim was given medical attention on scene but later died at Memorial Hospital.

Authorities believe there is no threat to neighbors or other parts of the community, based on facts and circumstances surrounding the investigation.

Authorities said it appears the victim and suspect knew each other.
