ISP warns ‘Click it or Ticket’ this holiday weekend

Local News

The Indiana State Police remind you their ‘Click it or Ticket’ program is running during the busy travel season.

The goal of the national seat belt campaign is to help keep families safe.

Statistics say that 48% of the passenger vehicle occupants killed in 2016 were not wearing seat belts.

During evening hours, those statistics increase to 56%.

If you’re pulled over and found not wearing your seatbelt, you’ll pay a fine of $25.

The latest ‘Click it or Ticket’ campaign ends June 3.
