IU School of Public Health makes recommendations to lower health care costs


INDIANAPOLIS (WEHT) – The Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI released a report Monday, featuring recommendations to lower health care costs in Indiana.

Julie Reed, executive vice president of the Indiana State Medical Association (ISMA) released this statement on the report:

“Indiana State Medical Association is eager to continue the discussion on new strategies that will lower health care costs without risking patient safety. ISMA believes there is a need to convene all stakeholders in the health care community to collaborate on a comprehensive, statewide strategy to improve health outcomes for Hoosiers.”
