Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – After 44 years, Jennifer’s Hallmark in Evansville is closing its doors.

Store owner Penne Gambrall says the contributing factors are the rise in online shopping as well as the addition of Hallmark products now being sold in stores like the Dollar Tree, which is located next door to Jennifer’s Hallmark.

Patrons flocked to the small business on Monday to stock up on discounted products and pass on their condolences.

The store will remain open for several weeks as they aim to sell of the majority of their inventory.
