Kentucky Colleges Reacting to Funding Cut Ruling

Educators across western Kentucky are measuring the financial impact of the State Supreme Court’s ruling restoring state funding cut by Governor Matt Bevin earlier this year.

Western Kentucky University officials say they will gain back $1.5 million once the money is made available. They add the ruling allows them to replenish reserves.

Owensboro Community and Technical College President Dr. Scott Williams says a $100,000 in state funding will be put back in to help students.
