Kentucky Joins Lawsuit against Paid Overtime Changes

Overtime Rule generic

Kentucky has now joined 21 other states in a lawsuit against the new overtime rule for salaried workers.

The new law set to go into effect December 1. It would more than double the salary threshold under which employers may pay overtime to salaried employees.

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin says the law would force private sector employers to layoff workers. Indiana is also part of the lawsuit.
