Kentucky Wesleyan College releases coronavirus protocol

Kentucky Wesleyan College

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT)- In a press release Wednesday evening, Kentucky Wesleyan College says it is working with faculty to prepare for the possibility they have to “deliver courses in a remote manner.”

Kentucky Wesleyan says they have no confirmed cases of coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 but the press release comes as schools across the country, including Notre Dame, are canceling in-person lessons for at least the time being and switching to digital learning.

In the press release, the college says students and staff should be mindful of hygiene tips to limit the spread of illness including washing hands for at least 20 seconds and avoiding touching the face or close contact with people who are ill.

Right now, there are not any confirmed cases of coronavirus in our Tri-State area.
