LAFAYETTE, La. (WEHT) – Police in Lafayette, Louisiana seized the largest amount of methamphetamine in the city’s history on December 28.
Police said Vickie Watson, 61, of Kentucky was arrested after 23 pounds of meth and 248 vials of THC oil were found in her vehicle during a traffic stop.
According to police, the methamphetamine had a street value of $2 million. The THC oil had a value of approximately $24,000, authorities said.
Watson faces drug charges, along with a traffic violation.
