Kids Kingdom torn down to make way for sewer project

Kids Kingdom playground in Evansville has been torn down to make way for a federally mandated sewer project.

The city opened a new playground, Mickey’s Kingdom, in October 2018 to replace Kids Kingdom.

Mickey’s Kingdom is 20,000-square-feet with swings, slides, and other features built by the community.
