KSP welfare check leads to methamphetamine charges

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT)- Kentucky State Police responded to a welfare check to a residence in the Drakesboro community.

When authorities arrived at the residence Wednesday, they came into contact with Brittany Brown, 27, and Trentin Allen, 23.

According to a press release, authorities discovered through further investigation, that Brown and Allen both had warrants issued for their arrest.

Allen was in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

Brittany Brown and Trentin Allen were arrested and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center where they were both served unrelated arrest warrants.

Trentin Allen was also charged with possession of controlled substance.
