The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning to place a new traffic signal along KY 260 in Hopkins County into flashing mode on Wednesday.

The signal is in Hanson.

KYTC says a new traffic signal along KY 260/Veterans Drive at the intersection with Factory Outlet Road at the east edge of Hanson will be placed in yellow flashing mode starting around 8:30 a.m.

This is located along KY 260 at mile point 1.823 between Interstate 69 Exit 120 and US 41 in Hanson.

The eastbound turn lane will have a flashing yellow arrow indicating vehicles turning left should yield, according to KYTC.

KYTC says signs and message boards are up to alert the public.
