KYTC: Part of Wathen Lane closed for bridge replacement

Local News

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A Henderson road will remain closed for two more weeks while crews replace a bridge.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the 6900 block of Wathen Lane will remain closed until December 18.

Crews have removed the existing bridge and replaced it with a box culvert system.

KYTC said the extended closure is based on issues with existing utilities.

A detour remains in place.
