The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has scheduled a public meeting for Thursday on the design and future construction a new Spottsville Bridge.
The meeting on the new US 60 Green River Bridge will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the Spottsville Elementary School.
There will be a brief presentation at 5:30 p.m.
Anyone with an interest in the project is encouraged to attend.
Engineers and design staff will be sharing some of the ongoing design work with the public.
During the meeting, displays illustrating the proposed construction of the new bridge will be presented.
The public will have the opportunity to make comments and ask questions.
If you're unable to attend, the meeting materials will be available for review at the KYTC District 2 Office at 1840 North Main St. in Madisonville for about two weeks following the presentation.
The office is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
