NEWBURGH, Ind. (WEHT) – A lightning strike blew a hole in the roof of a home in Newburgh Tuesday afternoon.
The home is on Riverwalk Circle near downtown.
We’re told the lightning strike knocked some shingles off the roof, but it did not start a fire.
According to the Ohio Township Fire Department, no one was hurt and the gas was turned off as a precaution.
