President Biden tours storm damage in western Kentucky

KENTUCKY (WEHT) – President Biden gave remarks in Dawson Springs on Wednesday after surveying storm damage from a tornado that struck western Kentucky last week.

Air Force One landed in Fort Campbell to meet with Governor Andy Beshear and his father former Governor Steve Beshear. The president saw the damage in Mayfield and in Dawson Springs, and he met with the families of people who used to live in homes that were leveled by the tornado.

Biden is traveling with congressman James Comer, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell.
