Livestock auction brings in big crowd at Vanderburgh Co. Fair

Local News

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – There was a big crowd at the Vanderburgh County Fair, and it was all for the annual 4H Premium Livestock Auction.

4H members had the chance to show off some goats and cows to local business owners.

Members say the purpose of the event is to get donations to help support local agriculture.

With good weather that mission was able to be accomplished.

“It’s been great at the fair. We’ve had a great turn out. The concert night there was a huge crowd so with the weather being so nice we’ve had a great week out here at the fair.”

Proceeds from the auction will all go to the 4H Center for future projects including animal care and furthering education.
