OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT)- RiverValley Behavioral Health announced Thursday that it received a $4 million grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to expand its services and become a certified community behavioral health clinic.

The expansion will primarily focus on children and adults with severe mental health and substance abuse disorders, including providing services in nine key areas.

RiverValley serves a seven-county area in western Kentucky, including Daviess, Ohio, McLean, Hancock, Webster, Union, and Henderson counties.
